Handmade Traditional Floor Lamps

The empire floor lamp lampshade has a tapered shape where the top diameter of the shade is about half the size of the bottom diameter. Empire floor lamps are one of the oldest styles and remains a timeless choice. These are available in both modern, traditional and as a ribbon wrap style. Empire floor lamp shades are available in eleven different sizes; ranging from 8” to 32” so you could have floor lampshades matching shades elsewhere in the room.
Types of Floor Lamps
The Coolie floor lamp lampshade has a wide base and a narrow top which can extend to a cone. The extra wide base is inspired in shape and in name by the coolie hat worn by asian farmers. We recommend using a 60W lightbulb or an energy saving lightbulb up to 12w in our floor lamp shades. If you wish to create a softer lighting feel with your floor lamp we also suggest opting for frosted lamps over clear.
