Our Empire Lampshade Builder helps you design a beautiful, custom empire lampshade tailored to your style. Available in various sizes, it works perfectly with small bedside table lamps, standard lamps, or large floor lamps. This classic empire shade can be made as a ceiling pendant, a timeless alternative to the drum shape.
Firstly, choose from a selection of outer fabrics, these include. Vibrant plain cottons, luxurious faux silk dupion, son trend brushed cotton, or rich velvet. Next the lining, go with standard white PVC for bright light output, natural cotton for a softer glow, or metallic finishes like gold, silver, copper, and champagne for a more modern vibe.
After finalising your design, we’ll hand make your empire lampshade in our Devon workshop to the highest level, ensuring it meets you specifications perfectly.
Each empire lampshade comes with a dual-purpose fitting that works with all UK and EU lamps (B22 and E27).
