Ruby Empire Retro Lampshade

This retro style ruby traditional empire lampshade with traditional straight edges is handmade in a Ruby faux silk and finished with a ruby rope trim.  The fabric has a subtle sheen and a soft, smooth surface that feels similar to silk but it is more affordable and more durable than real silk dupion.  The ruby faux silk dupion offers the same elegant and luxurious look without the high cost and delicate care requirements of real silk.

Our straight edged Empire lampshade comes in 8 popular sizes suitable for table lampshades, floor lamps, standard light shades and bedside table lights.  The inside is fully lined in a soft white fabric adding to the quality and luxurious finsih.  We hand make all of our traditional lampshades at our Devon workshop using traditional methifs which are virtually unchanged in over 60 years.  All our lampshades come with a dual purpose fitting suitable for all UK and European lamps.

Please note that sizes 10" to 14" have a fixed internal fitting, shades 16" and above sit on a shade carrier which is supplied with the lampshade.
